Christmas Time

It's always sad when Christmas is over.

...cleaning up the wrapping paper,
...turning off Bing Crosby,

...storing your ridiculously obnoxious red and green polkadot scarf away for another year,

But it's OK Because...

Birthdays

It's always sad when birthdays or anniversaries get overlooked

due to other more pressing obligations.

But It's OK Because...

... it's much less about the actual date, and much more about who you're with.

Water

It's rough getting woken up by the sound of your boyfriend's dog's canine pursuer running around the yard. And it's even rougher realizing that you can't flush the toilet because said canine pursuer broke a water line meaning that the sinks, showers, toilets, hoses -- and everything else that runs by way of water -- was out of commission. 

But It's OK Because...

... after a day of "camping in your own house" (we had to brush our teeth with a bottle of water outside) you begin to realize just how fortunate you are for having access to something as simple as running water -- something billions of people don't have -- and are instantly humbled and so very thankful for the opportunity to wash your hands.
