Christmas Time

It's always sad when Christmas is over.
...cleaning up the wrapping paper,
...turning off Bing Crosby,
...storing your ridiculously obnoxious red and green polkadot scarf away for another year,

But it's OK Because...

Christmas is never more than 365 days away!
{to find out exactly how many days/hours/minutes until next Christmas, go here!}

Birthdays

It's always sad when birthdays or anniversaries get overlooked
due to other more pressing obligations.

But It's OK Because...

... it's much less about the actual date, and much more about who you're with

Water

It's rough getting woken up by the sound of your boyfriend's dog's canine pursuer running around the yard. And it's even rougher realizing that you can't flush the toilet because said canine pursuer broke a water line meaning that the sinks, showers, toilets, hoses -- and everything else that runs by way of water -- was out of commission

But It's OK Because...

... after a day of "camping in your own house" (we had to brush our teeth with a bottle of water outside) you begin to realize just how fortunate you are for having access to something as simple as running water -- something billions of people don't have -- and are instantly humbled and so very thankful for the opportunity to wash your hands.

Garlic

Eating garlic is nice.
However, smelling like garlic 6 hours later is not nice.

But it's OK because...

... you inadvertently keep vampires and/or creepy people away.

Bad Days

Bad days are inevitable.

But It's OK because...

... something as simple as showering can help you push the re-set button.

Mending

Somethings cannot be mended with glue, tape or a really good seamstress.

But it's OK because,

...often those things can be mended with time, humor, smiles and friends.

Microwaves

Sometimes my patience is put to the test when I am microwaving food.
{My patience is directly corelated with my food intake; the more food I eat, the more patience I have. So it would only follow that if I am microwaving food, I am probably beyond hungry (my stomach cannot wait for me to actually cook something), meaning in addition to running low on sustenance, I am running low on patience}

But it's OK because...

... those 2-3 minutes are an excellent time to exercise your hamstrings!!

Farmers Market

My wallet was not too happy to relinquish $3
for two pears at the Farmers Market.

But it's OK because...

My stomach was absolutely overjoyed
to consume the two delicious pears

Harry Potter

Knowing that I will never be a wizard is really hard.

But it's OK because...

there really are so many magical things in this muggle world.

Bad Dreams

Waking up after bad dreams is nothing short of awful.
But it's OK because...
when you wake up, your actual reality
[no matter how dull/sad/hard/stressful]
seems so much better in comparison.
Hello TODAY!!
